Mentorship Opportunity

Science Club is an after school science program designed to engage middle school students in science through fun, hands-on activities.

***The Science Club organizers are looking for mentors to work with middle school students. Mentors lead or co-lead small groups of 2-4 middle school youth in weekly hands-on lab activities, encouraging scientific thinking,
creativity, problem solving, and safety.***

It will run at the True Value Club (2950 W. 25th St.) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 5-6pm, starting the week of Monday, January 11, 2016.

TO FIND OUT MORE: The organizers will visit the east and west campus of UIC to provide information about the program and on becoming a mentor.
